Hello neighborhood. Here's your Morning Memo on all things JP for Thursday, May 15.

Book Sale picture

JP Branch Library Annual Book Sale is Friday and Saturday: Friday and Saturday are high holy days for book lovers in JP. The JP Branch Library holds its annual book and DVD sale. It's 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the 12 Sedgwick St. library. Prices are just $1 or $2 per item. Bargain hunters can swoop in during the 4-5 p.m. hour on Saturday to fill a grocery bag with books for $5.

Have Your Say About Arborway Crossing: The Gazette has a wrap-up of last week's meeting on how to make it safer for pedestrians and bicyclists along the Arborway at the main entrance to the Arboretum. If you missed the meeting, you can see the presentation here on the state's website. Unlike some public processes around here, this one is moving fast. The deadline for comments is Tuesday, May 20. Visit the Gazette story to see how to put in comments.

Support Egleston Square Tonight: The biggest fundraiser of the year for Egleston Square Main Street is tonight. You should go! "Hot Jazz, Cool Neighborhood" starts at 6 p.m. at Coco's Lounge.

Okay, neighborhood. Have a good one.

[Editor's note: In the initial post, I had the wrong days for the library's book sale. The sale is Friday and Saturday.]
