Saturday is one of the most-talked-about new community events in recent JP history — Jamaica Plain Porchfest. As you're out enjoying the 60 bands, organizers encourage folks to take video and share it with them.
Jamaica Plain Porchfest runs noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday on stoops all over the neighborhood.
At least two established filmmakers are planning to document the day. Cofounders Marie Ghitman and Mindy Fried are encouraging anyone who takes video to share it on the event's Facebook page.
