As Boston's greenest neighborhood, it's no surprise JP is well represented each year in the Mayor's Garden Contest. True to form, JP produced several winners for 2014.
JP honorees were:
Shade garden: Myrna Balk (first place) and Robert Fettig (second place)
Large yard garden: Daphne Georges (third place)
This is at least the second win for Balk, who back in 2012 brought home the Golden Trowel (i.e. first place) for best senior garden.
