Good morning, neighbors. Another beautiful day out there. Here's your Morning Memo for all things JP for Thursday, Sept. 18.

Where Else Would Ye Be As Scotland Votes on Independence?: I think everyone's feeling a bit Scottish today as that piece of the United Kingdom votes on whether to declare independence. Stop by The Haven in Hyde Square, which will be streaming coverage from BBC Scotland. While you're there, cast your own ballot in JP's own version of the referendum. Though you'll have to overcome the voter intimidation from Sean Connery (as smartly pointed out by Gazette Editor John Ruch.)

WCVB's Chronicle Piece on JP to Air Again: If you missed the profile of JP on WCVB's "Chronicle" earlier this month, they're running it again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. If you're on Comcast cable, that channel 5 or 805 (HD). (Hat tip to Jeffrey Ferris at Ferris Wheels, who passed this along.)

Idaho Stops in Brookline?: Universal Hub highlighted Brookline Police floating the idea of making "Idaho Stops" for bicyclists legal in their town. That means bike riders would get to treat stop signs as yield signs and red lights as stop signs.

Have a great day!
