Hi neighbors. If you're like me, you're thrilled to see the sun again. Here's your Morning Memo for all things JP.

Egleston Square Tree Lighting: On Saturday, Egleston Square will celebrate the season with a tree lighting, carolers, "parrandas" and free hot chocolate. The event runs from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, with Mayor Marty Walsh expected around 5 p.m. for the actual tree lighting.

More Holiday Cheer in Egleston: Also nearby will be JP Holiday Art Fair at Urbano (in the Brewery.) It's a great chance to pick up local holiday gifts and support one of the neighborhood's youth organizations. 4-7 p.m. Saturday, 29 Germania St.

JP Jubilee Concert: Meanwhile in Centre/South, Elizabeth Anker's senior chorus will give a short concert at the JP Branch Library. Noon to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, 12 Sedgwick St.

OK, enjoy the sun, everybody!
