UPDATE: State Police report the backup was caused by a distressed person threatening to throw herself off the bridge. Police were able to get her away from the bridge safely and she is being treated at a hospital, according to Trooper Dustin Fitch.

According to a resident caught in the mess, Wednesday morning the Casey Overpass inbound was gridlocked through Shea Circle.
There are fire trucks, ambulances and State Police on scene. We'll post more as soon as we can confirm it.
