The Boston Pride Street Fair JP LGBT Block Party will be on Sunday for a full six hours of fun with dancing, divas, dogs, a drag show and more!

On Sunday, Perkins Street will be closed to traffic between Centre Street and South Huntington Avenue, from 6 am to 11 pm. Also there will temporary “Tow Zone No Stopping Sunday” parking restrictions in effect on both sides of Perkins Street from South Huntington Avenue to Centre Street.

Now the fun stuff!

An estimated 1,500 LBT women, queer and trans folk and friends of all ages will be on Perkins Street for an outdoor afternoon with vendors, food, cash bar (all ages, 21+ to drink). The six hours of fun is being put on by Kristen Porter Presents as she teams up with Boston Pride.

From 2 to 3 pm there will be face painting and games for kids. There will also be music from Zili Misik at this time, which is an all-female acoustic and electronic fusion of roots music of the African diaspora. 

From 3 to 4 pm will be the 4th Annual Divas, Dog & Drag Show, featuring available dogs for adoption showcased by Boston celebrity drag queens and kings! Sapphire Cristal, the former queen of Boston Pride and Miss Gay NY will emcee again.

From 4 to 8 pm the street will turn into a giant dance floor with music by DJ LeahV.

At 6:30 pm there will be a special guest performance by Adrienne Mack-Davis with feleciacruz, which blends hip-hop, soul, pop, r&b, dance music and classical opera!
