The Irish Social Club of Boston is pleased to announce that Bruce A. Morrison, who played a key role in ending 30 years of armed struggle in Northern Ireland, will be at the Club on September 7.
Morrison will be at the Club (119 Park St., West Roxbury) from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for a reading from "Peacerunner," the book that tells the story of Morrison's heroic contribution to peace.
Author Penn Rhodeen will read from the book followed by an interactive discussion with Morrison, Rhodeen and members of the audience. The event is free and the Club is providing free coffee, tea and an assortment of Irish breads. There will be a cash bar.
