Pink Samurai’s Alcohol License Being Transferred to Shake Shack in the Seaport

The city this week will seemingly transfer the alcohol license possessed by the short-lived Pink Samurai to a Shake Shack in the Seaport.

According to the agenda for Wednesday’s Boston Licensing Board, there is a petition for Pink Samurai’s (658 Centre St.) 7-day wine and malt beverages with liqueurs license to be transferred to the Shake Shack at 77 Seaport Blvd., which opened in August 2016.

After opening to much fanfare in early September, the long-delayed dumpling house only served customers for a week or two before promptly shuttering. By early November, the city had canceled its common victualler license.

Just before New Year’s, plans emerged for a second location of Chilacates taqueria to open in the former Pink Samurai space.

I LOVE CHILACATES. I moved from stony brook and I would love if they moved to centre street cuz I could have it for lunch! ALtho I really wanted to try the dumplings from Samurai 🙁 I totally missed the opening!
They would give Casa Verde and Tres Gatos a run for their money cuz their food is SO SO good.
