November 22, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Stock up for Thanksgiving at the Egleston Farmers Market CRANBERRY SLAM!

In addition to celebrating the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday with lots of cranberries and cranberry infused items available from our market vendors, we’ll have a cranberry related kids activity AND a couple of GREAT cranberry recipe demonstrations.  Come learn a new way to share this local crop with your Thanksgiving guests!

COMMUNITY TABLE: CRANBERRY RECIPE DEMONSTRATIONS!

Join us at 11 or 11:30 for a Black Pepper Cranberry Chutney demo (you can get just about all of the ingredients at the market!), and then again at 12:00 or 12:30 for a SPICED APPLE CRANBERRY SAUCE demo.

COMMUNITY NON-PROFIT: Meridian Academy – school trip fundraiser

MARKET SPONSOR: Balanced Rock Investment Advisors

COMMUNITY COMPOSTING: Bring your kitchen scraps* down to our complimentary community compost bins (no meat/dairy please!).  Community composting is continuing on with the support of George Zahka of Infinite Compost.
