Come try out longform improv comedy in a stress-free and welcoming drop in class from Naffy Improv!  This class focuses on teaching the fundamentals of longform improv in a fun and supportive environment.  Concepts such as “yes and”, “top of your intelligence”, and playing scenes “real” will be reviewed!

When: Saturday, Feb. 20th
Time:  2pm-4pm
Cost: $12
Location: The Riot Theater, 146A South Street, JP
Prerequisites:  None!  This workshop is for people completely new to improv!

Q: What’s different about your classes versus other improv schools in Boston?
Our classes are based on the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) theater philosophies.  The UCB theater is the largest longform improv school in the country with locations in NY and LA, and has generated comedians such as Amy Poehler, Adam McKay, Aziz Ansari, Donald Glover, and Kate Mckinnon to name a few.  In our classes you will learn the same foundations taught to the thousands of UCB students each year!

Q: What are your improv credentials?
The instructors currently perform weekly at Improv Boston as well as every Friday night at 10pm in the sold-out show “Your Terrible Ex!” at the Riot Theater.  Instructors have trained at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) theater in NY, iO in Chicago, and  Improv Boston,.  Instructors have performed across the country at the UCB NY Del Close Marathon, the San Francisco Improv Festival, and the iO LA Improv Festival.
