Fat Rice Pop-up and Cookbook Dinner at Tres Gatos

December 13, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

We’re excited to host a pop-up dinner and cookbook event with Chef Abe Conlon of Chicago’s highly acclaimed, Michelin Bib Gourmand winning restaurant, Fat Rice, on Tuesday December 13th! The dinner will feature an a la carte menu as well as a special 5-course prix fixe tasting menu for 2 for $90. The first 10 parties to reserve in advance for the tasting menu will be able to purchase a signed copy of the book for only $20. We will also discount the book by 10% the night of the event.

Fat Rice features the unique food of Macau (Portuguese-inspired southern Chinese fare) and is famous for its Arroz Gordo (literally Fat Rice) which is a traditional Macanese dish reminiscent of paella. Tres Gatos will be exclusively featuring a menu of authentic Fat Rice dishes from Abe’s cookbook, The Adventures Of Fat Rice, Recipes From the Chicago Restaurant Inspired by Macau, as well as dishes inspired by the book from Tres Gatos’ Chef Stephen Marcaurelle. The cookbook was recently featured in the Boston Globe as one of “The Season’s best cookbooks for holiday giving.” http://bit.ly/2h3nfdc

We will start the night with snacks and an author meet and greet from 5:30-6:30. Reservations are highly recommended but walk-ins are also welcome, starting at 6 pm. We’re so proud to bring this amazing Chicago experience to Boston! For more info, questions about the menu or to make reservations, call 617 477 4851 or visit tresgatosjp.com. #TheAdventuresOfFatRice
