Food and Water Watch Campaign to Save Antibiotics

Campaign Action Meeting

Did you know that 80% of antibiotics in the US are used on factory farms? Or that 2 million Americans get antibiotic resistant infections every year because our life-saving drugs are losing their effectiveness?

We CAN create a world where our medicine is effective and where our farms are safe and healthy. That's why Food & Water Watch is working in cities across the country to pass city council resolutions calling on our Senate and Congress to take action.

Boston is the birthplace of the American Revolution, a national leader in progressive issues. We have the opportunity to really make a difference, to call on Senator Warren to push the Preventing Antibiotic Resistance Act (PARA) through the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP). It's time to take a stand!

Come join us Wednesday 9/24 at City Feed and Supply!

This is THE event to come to to learn more about the campaign, meet others who are interested in the issue, and write a letter to the editor to raise visibility!

To learn more about the campaign, check out our website: http://www.foodandwaterwatch.org/food/factoryfarms/antibiotics/.
