How To Make Social Media Make Sense

May 3, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$30.00

It is easy to get overwhelmed-and quickly turned off-by social media. It seems every other minute a new platform is invented and trying to keep up can make you feel like a hamster on a wheel. But there’s no denying that social media is a vital and free tool for businesses. Section IV of this 6 part series will cover the variety of ways you can use social media to your advantage for reaching your audience, networking, doing research, or all three! The concepts behind social media along with concrete examples of on how to use various social media platforms will be presented by instructors, Anna Koon and Alex Kittle. Participants will gain the tools they need to build a strong online presence. The presentations will be aimed both at novices who would like to start their own social media accounts, as well as those who have already tried out social media platforms and are looking to improve their skills.
