Mosaic Workshop

Do you have old chipped dishes or leftover tiles that are sentimental but need to be repurposed? Learn to make ceramic shard mosaics. During this hands-on, two-part workshop from Boston Building Resources, we will create individual mosaic works and learn skills that can be used to create a backsplash or fireplace hearth. Part 1 will focus on the fundamentals of shaping and cementing. In Part 2 (April 18), we will apply grout to finish the project. Participants must enroll in both Parts 1 and 2 and should wear work clothes. Feel free to bring your own ceramic materials; we will also have a supply available.
