The Artist’s Archive: How to Visually Document Your Portfolio

February 14, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$75.00

Creating quality images of your artwork for marketing materials, selling & displaying your art online and portfolio organization is one of the keys to success. In this 2 day workshop through hands-on instruction participants will learn what the best camera settings are for capturing optimal images and how to take great photographs of your work both indoors and outdoors.  You will learn how to save and organize your image files for easy future access. The first day of the workshop will cover proper outdoor/indoor lighting opportunities, appropriate background options, and the best focus/exposure techniques for truly rendering your artwork. The second day will cover uploading, labeling, tagging, culling and managing your image files in an organized fashion so that future use is easy. Students must attend both days and will need to bring a camera and a laptop to class.  The workshop is Saturday & Sunday, February 14 and 15th 1-3:30pm (both days).  To find out more or register: focusingseries@gmail.com or 617-955-3472.
