Law Firm Donates 150 Trees for Pond, Franklin Park and Elsewhere

Boston Business Journal reports that the law firm Ropes & Gray LLP is donating 150 red oaks to the Emerald Necklace. Many of the trees will be around Jamaica Pond, Franklin Park and the Riverway.

Ropes & Gray LLP is donating 150 red oak trees to Emerald Necklace parks in recognition of the Boston-based law firm’s 150th anniversary. The firm will pay for the planting of the trees in Franklin Park, around Jamaica Pond and on the Riverway, among other places, as well as for two years of maintenance.
