Man Charged With Starting Conflict That Ended With JP Teacher Shot Dead

A grand jury returned indictments Friday against a man accused of aiming a gun at his enemies during a parade this summer. When one of the men he allegedly targeted fired back, the shots killed Dawnn Jaffier, a health teacher at the Boys & Girls Club at the Hennigan School in JP.

A Dorchester man has been indicted and charged with starting the chain of events that led to the fatal shooting of a Dorchester woman in 2014.
