Pols, Cops, Jakes and Paramedics Take the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’

As JP City Councilor Matt O'Malley points out in his video accepting the "Ice Bucket Challenge" to raise money to cure ALS, the meme has taken over Facebook walls all over Boston. You know the drill by now: People and organizations challenge one another to either dump ice water over their heads or donate to efforts to stop ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Whether you've taken an icy bath this week or not, you can donate to the Pete Frates Fund, named for the Boston College athlete who has been living with the disease since 2012.
