Three Bizs to Open Joint Venture in Old Monumental Cupcakes Locale on South Street

A trio of local businesses will open in the South Street storefront that last housed Monumental Cupcakes, which alluded to a future "monumental" business opening in its place when it closed in January. The Lavender Bee Baking Co., Tipping Cow Ice Cream, and El Colombiano Coffee will come together in a novel venture called the Monumental Market, according to Boston Magazine. El Colombiano Coffee is often a vendor at the Egleston Farmers Market. The store will be a bakery and cafe, serving ice cream and all products will be nut-free. “We want to keep JP funky and vibrant, and use the space for the community to hold art shows, pop-ups, and other cool events.
