About 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police quit searching for a woman last seen going into Jamaica Pond naked on Saturday evening. The incident transformed the boathouse to a staging zone for the fire trucks and police cruisers that responded. While emergency vehicles circled the pond training their lights on the shore and woods, a Boston Fire Department boat searched the dark water. According to scanner traffic, the woman was naked when she went into water and began swimming toward the center of the pond. Witnesses didn't see her come out of the water.
