The JP Little Library at Bardwell and South streets, kitty-cornered from the JP Branch Library, has been reported gone/damaged.
A quirky bit of neighborhood character — the JP Little Library — is reportedly gone.
JP resident Charlie McEnerney said he went by the unofficial lending library at the corner of Bardwell and South streets and found it gone. Twitter user Fran Harrington said the Little Library was knocked off and on the ground when he rode by recently.
"I have faith it will be fixed/replaced soon," Harrington wrote.
Jamaica Plain News hasn't been able to stop by the scene and verify the exact status of the Little Library, but we wanted to bring you this update as soon as we heard!

Tiny Library at Chestnut Avenue and Paul Gore Street
We haven't heard any reports on JP's other little library — the Tiny Library in Hyde/Jackson, specifically on Chestnut Avenue near Paul Gore Street, but let's hope it's safe and sound.
