Rise and shine, JP. Here's your Morning Memo for Tuesday, June 10.

Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates to Hold Forum in JP: Here's something I'd like to put on your radar, even though it's not until next Monday. The Ward 19 Democratic Committee is among the sponsors of a forum involving all the Democrats aiming to take Deval Patrick's place. The incumbent isn't running. The event begins at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, June 16 at the Curley School, 40 Pershing Road, with a meet-and-greet. The forum itself starts at 6:30 p.m., with Boston journalist David Bernstein moderating. Free.

Sánchez Holds Arborway Advisory Group Meeting: If making the Arborway safer for bicyclists and pedestrians is something you'd like to see, there's a civic meeting you might be interested in. State Rep. Jeffrey Sánchez, D-Jamaica Plain, is holding an Arborway Advisory Group meeting on the topic at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hunnewell Building, 125 Arborway. Many stakeholding groups have already chimed in with ideas, but if you haven't, this meeting is your chance.

Mayor's Garden Contest Entries Due July 11: As the city's greenest neighborhood, JP always seems to be well represented in the annual Mayor's Garden Contest. But we can't rest on our laurel bushes! Enter your garden in this year's contest online or pick up entry forms at City Hall, Boston Community Centers and Boston Public Library branches. For more information call 617-961-3051.

JP Bar Wars Is Tuesday Night: I've touted this in a previous "Morning Memo" but it bears repeating — your favorite bartenders have put together bands to compete for a spot in this year's JP Music Festival. The madness begins at 8 p.m. at the Midway Cafe, 3496 Washington St.

OK, have a great day!
