A Norwood man who allegedly put his iPad between a woman's legs and took a photo at Forest Hills station told cops he didn't know it was against the law.
The victim told Transit Police she was standing in the upper busway on Tuesday when she felt something touch her knees. She got a good look at the man, who was holding an iPad with the camera trained up her skirt.
Transit police used her description to stop a 34 Bus at Washington Street and Garfield Avenue. They found a man matching the description and carrying an iPad. Police arrested Joshua Gonsalves, 23, of Norwood and charged him with "upskirting," a law that zoomed its way through Beacon Hill in record time this spring after the Supreme Judicial Court ruled the practice was indeed legal.
