Boston Police have issued a community alert after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and robbed at knife-point in Arnold Arboretum on Wednesday.
The incident took place Wednesday about 11 a.m., the victim told police.
The victim described the suspect as a black man in his early 20s, about 5-4 or 5-6. He had a thin build, was wearing a black do-rag, white shirt and dark-colored jeans with gray. He rode a black bicycle.
By police policy, they do not specify the exact locations of sexual assaults.
Police urge those with information about the attack to contact detectives at 617-343-5628 or the sexual assault unit at 617-343-4400. Anonymous tips can be called in to 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
Earlier this month, two women were robbed in the Arboretum.
