Hello, neighbors. Here's your Morning Memo for all things JP for Friday, Aug. 15.

Ezekiel's Wheels at The Space: I love klezmer. If you do too, the place to be at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night is The Space, an intimate venue at 128 Brookside Ave. to hear Ezekiel's Wheels. Check them out in the YouTube clip above performing at the International Jewish Music Festival in 2012. Here's the Facebook event page for the concert. Suggested donation of $15 at the door.

Peace and Unity Rally: I mentioned this event in a Morning Memo earlier this week, but here's a reminder: The JP Neighborhood Development Corp. is sponsoring a Peace and Unity Rally in Hyde and Jackson squares on Saturday. The event runs from 1-4 p.m. and includes music, an open mic and food. As you are no doubt aware, there have been three separate shooting incidents near Stony Brook T so far this summer. The Peace and Unity Rally's goal, organizers say, is "to unite with our neighbors and 'obtener seguridad, para tener libertad y el sentir de comunidad' which means 'obtain safety, to have freedom, and the sense of community.'"

Saturday Morning Yoga in Franklin Park: Did you know there's a free yoga class atop the hill where Ralph Waldo Emerson lived in a cabin for two years? It meets at 10 a.m. each Saturday morning through the end of August. All levels are welcome and they even have spare yoga mats if you don't have one.

Have a great day, JP!
