Rise and shine, neighbors. Here's your Morning Memo for Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Egleston Square Neighborhood Assoc. Meets Wednesday Night: If you live in Egleston, consider joining the newly reinvigorated neighborhood association. It meets Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Egleston YMCA, 3134 Washington St.

Line Dancing in Franklin Park: On the remaining Wednesdays in August, Rhythm Riders offers line dancing near the golf clubhouse. Runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and you don't need to know any steps before you scoot your boots over there. Free.

Creature Teachers: I don't know about whether skunks are active this summer near your house or apartment. But they've been trotting past the World HQ of Jamaica Plain News in Roslindale every night. On Thursday, the JP Branch Library welcomes "Creature Teachers: Animals From Around the World," where kids up to 12 will learn about animals from around the world, including possibly their skunk neighbors. 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, 12 Sedgwick St. Free.
