Good morning. Here's your Morning Memo for all things JP for Friday, Sept. 12.
Mount Pleasant Home Hosts Cookout: If you live in the South Huntington area of JP, there's a big backyard party at the Mount Pleasant Home on Sunday. There'll be a cookout, live music and a bouncy house for the kids. 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Mount Pleasant Home, 301 S. Huntington Ave.
Frankenstein: The Footlight Club's production of Frankenstein debuts Friday night. If you can't make Friday's showing of this adaptation by Victor Gialanella, Frankenstein runs through Sept. 27. 8 p.m. Friday, 7A Eliot St.
JP Beer Garden "Pop-Up": This event is Monday, but tickets might be gone by then. The folks aiming to open an Alsatian restaurant here in the neighborhood are raising money and honing their craft by doing a series of "pop-up" nights at Vee Vee. Monday, Sept. 15, 6:30-9:30 p.m., 763 Centre St.
Have a great day and a great weekend, neighbors.[selfie]
