Here are highlights from the police blotter for Jamaica Plain from Monday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

While much of media coverage, including here on Jamaica Plain News, has focused on the alarming armed robberies near the Pond in which victims were tied up and menaced with knives, six incidents of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon or street robberies were reported outside the Pond area.

The time listed is when the incident allegedly took place, not when it was reported. Arrests and charges are not convictions.
