A pastor and minister of music for First Baptist Church were among those who traveled from Boston to Ferguson, Mo. to protest the police killing of Michael Brown.

The Boston Globe (subscription may be required) reports that Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, the Centre Street church's formation and justice pastor, and Colin Cushman, the historic church's minister of music, were both arrested.

Several members of the congregation took the trip to Ferguson, including Rev. Ashlee Wiest-Laird, head pastor. Other Jamaica Plain residents also made the trip, including Nataleah Turner.

For more on the arrests, please visit the Boston Globe. However, Wiest-Laird took issue with the choices made by the reporter, as you can see from this post on the church's Facebook page.
