Egleston Square Main Street Annual Meeting and Networking Breakfast: As regular readers of Jamaica Plain News know, there are a lot of positive things happening in Egleston Square. Mark you calendars and register for Friday's annual meeting and networking breakfast for Egleston Square Main Street, the community business and development organization. It's from 7:30-9 a.m. Friday. For more details, here's how to register to attend.

City Council Hearing on Gentrification: City Council Tito Jackson holds a hearing Monday at 4 p.m. at City Hall on "displacement, community stabilization and neighborhood preservation." The meeting is in the council chambers on the fifth floor.
