The National Weather Service says Suffolk County, including Jamaica Plain, should expect urban flooding as a major storm moves through New England. Winds are expected to gust to 50 MPH.
The flood advisory runs until 4 p.m. Tuesday. The heaviest rain is expected in Boston from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday.
In addition to the cold rain, batten down for high winds. Gusts of 50 MPH are expected with sustained easterly winds of 20-30 MPH.
