Hello, neighbors. It's your Morning Memo for all things JP for Thursday, Dec. 11.

Jueves in the 'Hood: Every Thursday in December, the merchants and restaurants of Hyde Square and Jackson Square are offering special deals and extended hours. It's all part of the "Jueves in the 'Hood" program put together by Hyde Jackson Square Main Street. For instance, Centre Fashion is offering three pair of shoes for $100 and The Old Havana Restaurant will give you a free soda with any meal. Here's a full list of the deals.

Curley School Holiday Shopping Night: Staying with shopping news, you can combine helping the Curley K-8 School with picking up holiday gifts. Just mention the Curley when you check out on Thursday between 5-8 p.m. at the following Centre/South stores: Kitchenwitch, Hatched, Cobwebs, Boing!, On Centre, Streetcar Wine & Beer, Papercuts JP and Caramelo.

#5 on Main: And whether you shop Hyde/Jackson, Centre/South or Egleston Square, be sure to take a photo of your purchase and Tweet it with the hashtag #5onMain in support of the city's campaign to encourage buying local this holiday season.

OK, have a great day!
