Another JP business fell victim to an armed robber on Friday, the fourth in less than two weeks. This time the gunman hit City Feed's Boylston Street location.

Police took the call for the incident about 3:48 p.m., according to a Boston Police report. Officers got there in just a few minutes, City Feed co-owner told boston.com.

Employees had put up the "Closed" sign when officers arrived, the police report said. Once an employee opened the door, officers got a description of the man and broadcast it.

The employees described the gunman as a white man, 40-50 years old, wearing a tan knit cap, sunglasses and a dark-colored jacket.

The man was in and out of the 66A Boylston St. store in less than a minute and made off with hundreds of dollars, Warner told boston.com. According to the police report, the man showed a black handgun, walked behind the counter and demanded all the money in the register. The man grabbed the cash and fled on foot toward nearby Stony Brook T.

Officers canvassed the area but didn't find a suspect.

This is at least the fourth armed robbery in Jamaica Plain in the past two weeks:
