Jamaica Plain's first decent storm of the year has some fight left in it as of Saturday early afternoon. The National Weather Service is reporting the storm is expected to last through early evening. Accumulations could hit 4-8 inches.
The Weather Service has issued a storm warning through 7 p.m. Saturday. As of noon, the Boston Globe was reporting the city had about 4 inches on the ground.
Among JP-related storm effects is that the JP real estate firm Cervone Deegan and Assoc. cancelled its skating party at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. If you know of other JP-related closures, please add them in the comments or email chris@jamaicaplainnews.com and we'll add them.
