Here are highlights from the police blotter for Jamaica Plain from Friday and the weekend. One of the most serious incidents came Friday, when a man in his 20s was robbed at knifepoint on Day Street.

The incident took place about 11 p.m. near 72 Day St. Police Officer Neva Coakley said the victim reported being approached from behind. The victim didn't get a good description of his assailant. Police attempted to track the phone but it had been turned off.

The time listed is when the incident allegedly took place, not when it was reported. Arrests and charges are not convictions.

9:45 p.m. — Stolen vehicle recovered — 725 Centre St. (A supplemental report was filed in this incident with the location given as 90 South St.)
10:03 p.m. — Assault and battery — 1903 Columbus Ave.
10:45 p.m. — Vandalism — 147 Boylston St.
11 p.m. — Street robbery (knife) — 72 Day St.

Saturday, Jan. 31
2:21 a.m. — Larceny in a building ($50-199) — 361 Walnut Ave.
10:35 p.m. — Trespassing — 82 Green St.

Sunday, Feb. 1
9:30 a.m. — Residential break-in (no force) — 58 Green St.
3:53 p.m. — Fraud (false pretenses) — 39 Ballard St.
