Louise Johnson and Jill Havens, both of Jamaica Plain, were in attendance on Thursday, April 9, as addiction and homelessness services organization CASPAR (Cambridge and Somerville Program for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Rehabilitation) hosted "Strengthening Our Community," its annual fundraising event, at the Marriott Courtyard Cambridge.
The event, which featured a delicious buffet, live auction and inspiring stories from those battling addiction, raised $93,000 for CASPAR's programs for men, women and children. To learn more about CASPAR and its services, visit www.casparinc.org.
