Oh, Twitter. What would we do without you? During Tuesday night's Democratic debate some people on social media are confusing Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley for presidential candidate Governor Martin O'Malley. By the way, Matt is a supporter of Gov. O'Malley.

Now we all make mistakes, confuse people for each other, but this is rather humorous.

To which Matt O'Malley responded:

How about some more confusion?

To which Matt O'Malley responded... Β Β

And some more confusion of Matt and Martin.

Rachel Lake, who works at the Boston City Council, got into the act.Β

And some people started wondering how would some of Matt's initiatives work on the federal level...

While Christina would like to see Matt make it to the debate.

And Matt responded:

And apparently there's a monster in Jamaica Pond.

Then Matt was compared to Kevin Spacey!

To which Matt responded:

And Eddie Murray, not the Baseball Hall of Fame player fell in love with Matt tonight.

And Matt got in on confusing people with similar names!

Possibly some frustration of Martin being directed at Matt?

But you gotta love Matt's "Airplane" reference!
