Teen Stabbed at Jackson Square T Station, Injuries Life-Threatening

A teen was stabbed at the Jackson Square T station at around 3:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The Boston Globe reports that the 17-year-old victim was stabbed in the upper torso and suffered life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was arrested Friday morning. Boston Police will be releasing more details shortly.

Police said the teens were fighting prior to the stabbing.

The station was closed for nearly two hours Thursday afternoon, with shuttle buses running between Roxbury Crossing and Stony Brook stations, while police conducted their investigation.

The reported stabbing comes on the heels of gunfire at Forest Hills station during last Friday's busy morning commute. Three teens were arrested and charged in that incident.
