Police Provide Additional Details on Friday’s Shooting Near Hyde Square

Boston Police have provided additional details on Friday evening's shooting near Hyde Square, which left one dead and another seriously wounded.

Police shared the following information on bpdnews.com:

At about 6:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for two people shot in the area of 6 Wyman Street.

Upon arrival, officers observed two male victims in their early 20's in a parking lot adjacent to 348 Centre Street suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The first victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The second victim was pronounced deceased on-scene.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
