This is the second school day in a row that students will have off because of snow.
The National Weather Service, known for its conservative predictions when it comes to inches of snow, forecasts between 6 and 10 inches. The timing will squarely hit the Monday morning commute:
Snow overspreads the area Monday morning 4 a.m. to 7 a.m., then becomes heavy at times after 8 a.m. and continues into the early afternoon. Snow intensity begins to diminish by mid-afternoon.
