On the heels of last week's brief closure and then reopening of the MSPCA-Angell dog park on South Huntington Avenue, the park is closed once again -- but this time for a different reason.

The MSPCA-Angell Dog Park at 350 South Huntington Ave. in Jamaica Plain.
On its Twitter account Wednesday afternoon, the MSPCA tweeted the following series of messages to explain the park's closure, which is expected to last two to three weeks:
Note: The #MSPCA dog park is temporarily closed to allow space for a family of rabbits currently nesting inside 1/4 #JamaicaPlain

We anticipate re-opening the park in two to three weeks after the babies have been weaned and are able to move on 2/4 #JamaicaPlain

We ask for patience as we prioritize the safety of #wildlife who share this space with the community 3/4 #JamaicaPlain

We can all live skillfully (and enjoyably!) alongside #WildLife such as these rabbits. Here's how: https://t.co/cwD0UR05Cw #JamaicaPlain 4/4

Last week, the MSPCA temporarily closed the dog park for several days while it investigated a fight that had occurred at the park between two dogs. The park reopened Aug. 23, with a new rule in place that no longer permits professional dog walkers to bring pups to the park.
