Two dogs left tied to a tree in the Arnold Arboretum were rescued Saturday, and Boston Animal Care and Control is seeking leads to identify the dogs or the circumstances under which they were seemingly abandoned.
In addition to the regular weekend visitors, the arboretum hosted its members' plant sale Saturday, perhaps drawing more watchful eyes than usual to the park.
