A man in his 40s was shot and killed overnight in Jamaica Plain.
According to the Boston Police Department, at about 12:56 a.m. early Tuesday morning, Sept. 27, District E-13 officers responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 267 Centre St., at the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments (formerly known as Bromley Heath) in Jackson Square. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim in his early 40s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where we was later pronounced deceased.
