Boston Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in Roxbury on October 8th as a Jamaica Plain resident.

Carlos Lind, 20, of Jamaica Plain, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 5 Cleaves Court in Roxbury, around 10:56 pm, according to BPDnews.com.

BPD District E-13 officers were initially called to the area of 2044 Columbus Avenue and located Lind, who was transported to an area hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this shooting.
