The 4th Annual Jamaica Plain Porchfest will take place on July 8 and like previous years, a new element is being added -- a Resource Mobilization Fair. At the fair local nonprofit organizations will be able inform people about important issues of concern, including housing, climate change and more.

The music and arts festival will take place on 95 porches and feature 206 bands across Jamaica Plain from noon to 6 pm. And Jamaica Plain News will have a more extended preview later this week.
