A new dining establishment called Evergreen Eatery may move into the space at the intersection of Green and Amory streets recently vacated by pizzeria La Rana Rossa.

According to the agenda for last week's Jamaica Plain Business and Professional Association (BAPA) meeting, Evergreen Eatery Inc., with Karen Paik listed as manager, is requesting a common victualler beer and wine license for the restaurant at 154 Green St., with opening hours from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. BAPA's Facebook page, meanwhile, mentions Phil Paik -- the owner of JP Seafood -- as the manager.

Little is known about the restaurant's potential concept at this time, although Boston Hidden Retaurants says some Facebook posters suggest it may be an Amsrican-style diner.

La Rana Rossa, which opened in early 2016, closed last month. Before that, the space was occupied by Bartlett Square Cafe.
