JP Centre/South Main Streets is presenting a panel discussion of prominent women business owners in Jamaica Plain to hear their stories about running a business.

Fearless: A Panel Discussion of Women Business Owners in Jamaica Plain will be on Oct. 16, 2017.

Panelist will include Joy Silverstein from Fresh Hair Salon, Genevieve Day from JP Knit & Stitch, Kim Mitchell from Boing! Toy Shop, Karen McCormack from McCormack & Scanlan Real Estate, and Christine Rose from Imani Massage. Each panelist will share biographical information about themselves and their businesses, and then answer audience questions.
The panel discussion is part of the city's WeBos Week program and is being hosted by the Women Entrepreneurs Boston. WeBos is a "program that advances women entrepreneurs by providing resources and networking opportunities. WeBos Week is a celebration of those opportunities."
The discussion will be Monday, Oct. 16th from 10 to 11:30 am at the JP Branch Library (30 South St.). The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are recommended. This event is being sponsored by Fresh Hair Salon, JP Knit & Stitch, McCormack & Scanlan and Imani Massage.
