So Close to the Promised Land: Exodus Bagels Opening Sunday

A long anticipated day is almost here -- Exodus Bagels will be opening its Jamaica Plain storefront on Feb. 11th.

In a Facebook post, Adam Hirsh, owner of Exodus Bagels, let folks know that the wait is over and that people can stop pressing their faces against the windows  -- because the very popular bagel business will be giving out free bagels and cream cheese on Sunday!

The business is located at 3346 Washington St., the former home of the Canto 6 bakery, which closed in 2016. The store will be open for full service on Feb. 13th selling its full market menu, some sweets and beverages. The store will be keeping bagel business hours: 7 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Friday and 8 am to 2 pm on weekends. No bagels on Mondays, so plan accordingly.

And don't worry, the business will still have a multi-neighborhood presence.

"Just to reiterate, we will be staying in Roslindale where we will be producing all of our food and working on realizing the 2 McCraw Street location into another storefront. We understand that the timeline for this is well past due but we are a small business that had to make this pivot to survive," wrote Hirsh in his Facebook post.

After four months of grinding, we are finally ready to open our doors to the public and begin the long awaited feeding...
