Get on your running shoes for a good cause this Sunday, as there will be a 5K Family Fun Run & Walk to benefit the South Street Youth Center at Jamaica Pond.
Registration and check-in is from 8:15 to 9:15 am at the boathouse. The race/run starts at 9:30 am. This is a rain or shine event.
There will also be a costume party after the run/race!
Sazama Real Estate and Jamaica Plain's South Street Youth Center are sponsoring this event, and all proceeds will benefit the center. You can sign-up here -- it costs less money if you're wearing a costume while running.
